Kevin Gregory Churko (born 19 January 1968 in Regina, Saskatchewan) is a Canadian musician, sound engineer, songwriter and record producer best known for his work with artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Modern Science, Five Finger Death Punch, Hinder, In This Moment and Shania Twain.[1]

Awards

He has been nominated for five Juno Awards and has won three times. He won his first Juno in 2008 for Recording Engineer of the Year for Ozzy Osbourne's "I Don't Wanna Stop"/"The Almighty Dollar" single,[2] once in 2009 for Engineer of the Year for Simon Collins "U-Catastrophe" and again in 2011 for engineering "Scream" by Ozzy Osbourne.[3] He was nominated for producer of the year in 2010 for his son Kane Churko's band Modern Science and in This Moment's second album "The Dream".[4]

Kevin also produced and co-wrote the song "I Don't Wanna Stop" by Ozzy Osbourne which was nominated for "Best Hard Rock Performance" at the 2008 Grammy Awards. Churko & Ozzy were nominated for a second Grammy Award again or Best Hard Rock Performance in 2010 for Scream.[5]
