Kesha Ram (born August 2, 1986 in Los Angeles, United States) is a Democratic member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing the Chittenden-3-4 District, which includes the Burlington neighborhoods of Old North End, Hill Section, and the University District. She is one of two legislative members from the district, the other being Vermont Progressive Party House of Representatives caucus chairman Chris Pearson. She is the youngest member and the only person of color in the Vermont House of Representatives.[1]
Education
Kesha graduated from Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, California in 2004. After graduating, she moved from California to Vermont to attend the University of Vermont, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2008 with degrees in Natural Resource Planning and Political Science and was awarded a Truman Scholarship.[2]
