Kerrowmoar

The A3 Castletown to Ramsey Road at Kerrowmoar near Sulby, Isle of Man.

Kerrowmoar (Manx: The Great Quarterland)[1] is situated adjacent the 22nd Milestone on the primary A3 Castletown to Ramsey road and between the 20th Milestone and 21st Milestone road-side markers on the Snaefell Mountain Course used for the Isle of Man TT Races near Sulby in the parish of Lezayre in the Isle of Man.

Kerromoar including Kerrowmoar East was part of the Four Inch Course used for the Tourist Trophy automobile car races held in the Isle of Man between 1908 and 1922. The Kerromoar Corner was part of the Snaefell Mountain Course used since 1911 for the Isle of Man TT Races and from 1923 for the Manx Grand Prix.[2]

The Kerrowmoar complex of bends was subjected to road widening and reprofiling during the winter of 1953/1954 by the Isle of Man Highway Board for the 1954 Isle of Man TT Races.[3]
