Kerava (Finnish pronunciation: [ˈkerɑʋɑ]; Swedish: Kervo) is a town and municipality in Finland.

It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Uusimaa region. The town has a population of 35,304 (30 November 2014)[2] and covers an area of 30.79 square kilometres (11.89 sq mi) of which 0.17 km2 (0.066 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 1,152.97 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,986.2/sq mi). The municipality is unilingually Finnish.

Transport

Kerava railway station is an interchange (transfer) station, with connections from the main track from Helsinki to Riihimäki to the tracks to Lahti, Sköldvik/Porvoo and Vuosaari Harbour.
