Kentucky Route 1472 (KY 1472) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The route is 11.690 miles (18.813 km) long and is located almost entirely in Shelby County.
Route description
The route originates at a junction with KY 395 near Harrisonville and travels northward along the Anderson County line. It then travels along the Franklin County line and crosses fully into Franklin County for 0.3 miles (0.48 km), passing over Interstate 64. Just north of I-64 KY 1472 crosses back into Shelby County and heads northeast through Graefenburg, forms a junction with US 60, and continues to wind northward for nearly 6 miles (9.7 km) until it comes to its northern terminus at KY 1779 near Hatton.
The entire route runs primarily through rural sections of Shelby and Franklin counties.
