Kent Franklin Peterson (December 21, 1925 – April 27, 1995) was a Major League Baseball pitcher. He played all or part of eight seasons in the majors, 1944 and 1947–1953, for the Cincinnati Reds and Philadelphia Phillies. In 1948, Peterson led the National League in hit batsmen with 6 despite pitching just 137 innings.
