Kent F. Moors, PhD, is a financial and government intelligence advisor and oil and natural gas policy expert.[1][2][3] He is also a professor at Duquesne University in the Department of Political Science and the Graduate Center for Social and Public Policy.[4]
Life and education
Moors received his Bachelor of Arts in Politics from St. Anselm College, M.A. in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire, and his Ph.D. in Political Science from Northern Illinois University.[4]
Moors lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with his wife Marina.[5]
Career
Moors is the executive managing partner of Risk Management Associates International LLP (RMAI), which is a full-service, global management consulting and executive training firm.[6] He has been a member of the Advisory Board of Ecosphere Technologies, Inc., and has advised and consulted multiple companies, financial institutions, law firms and governments.[7][8] In addition, he is the president of ASIDA Inc, a global oil and gas consulting firm.[9]
He is the contributing editor of the publication, Russian Petroleum Investor and Caspian Investor, and directs WorldTrade Executive’s Russian and Caspian Basin Special Projects division.[6] In 2011, Moors published his book, The Vega Factor: Oil Volatility and the Next Global Crisis.[1]
In addition to writing, Moors has been a key speaker on topics including, global risk management, oil and natural gas policy, cross-border capital flows, economic and fiscal development and new techniques in energy risk management.[2][7]
