Kenny Easterday

Kenneth "Kenny" Easterday (born December 7, 1973) is an American man born with a rare disability called sacral agenesis.[1] To improve his mobility, his legs were amputated at the hip when he was six months old.[2]

Easterday gained some notoriety following the 1988 release of the Canadian movie The Kid Brother (1988) (also known as Kenny), which he played a fictionalized version of himself.[3] To this day, Kenny Easterday refuses to use a prosthesis, preferring to walk on his hands or use a skateboard.[4] He was married at the age of 19 to an able-bodied woman named Sarah; they were divorced two years later.

He was a regular on "The Messenger", on The Jerry Springer Show, and the focus of a TLC special[5] titled "The Man with Half a Body", aired April 2009 and 2010 and June 2013,[6] whether he had fathered a child by his fiancée Nikki.[7]

He was born in West Aliquippa, Pennsylvania.[8]
