In December 2014, he won two NRJ Music Awards for Francophone Breakthrough of the Year and "Color Gitano" as Francophone Song of the Year.[5] His album Kendji sold 600,000 copies by January 2015,[6] certifying Diamond and becoming France's second highest selling album of 2014 after Racine Carrée by Stromae.
Kendji started his official national tour in January 2015.[7] On February 16, 2015, he appeared in the French version of Ariana Grande's "One Last Time", renamed "One Last Time (Attends-moi)" that was released in France and Belgium.[8][9] A lyric music video was released on February 19, 2015.[10]
