Kelly Gale (born May 14, 1995 in Gothenburg, Sweden) is a Swedish fashion model of mixed East Indian heritage.

Early life

Her mother is from Poona in India and her father from Tatura in Victoria, Australia.

Kelly has been involved in sports since an early age. She played soccer with Näsets SK in Gothenburg and tennis since she was seven years old. [3] She attended Näset Skolan and Göteborgs Högre Samskola.[4]

At age 13, she was discovered by a model agent outside a coffee shop in Gothenburg.[5] She started modeling one year later, when the same model agent came to her again.[6] Her first work was for H&M. People at her school bullied her for that.[7]

Career

Her first big fashion show was Chanel in 2012.[3]

In 2013, she was chosen to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She said to Vogue India that she had a special diet and a new workout routine a couple of weeks before the castings.[8]

She has been in adverts and catalogues of H&M and H-I-G-H. She has walked runways for Azzedine Alaia, Chanel, Monique Lhuillier, Tommy Hilfiger, Band of Outsiders, Narciso Rodriguez, Badgley Mischka, Vivienne Tam, Ralph Lauren, Christopher Kane, Reem Acra, Tom Ford, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Academy of Arts, Diane von Fürstenberg, Nanette Lepore, L'Wren Scott, Thomas Tait, Houghton, Rag & Bone and Victoria's Secret.

She has been featured on the cover of French Revue des Modes, and on editorials of Teen Vogue, Vogue Italia, Elle, Vogue India and Lucky.

In 2014, she was chosen to walk the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show again,[9] as well as Polo Ralph Lauren which she also advertised.
