Keith Spurgeon (1933–1990) was an English football player and manager.

Career

Playing career

Spurgeon played non-league football in England for Margate, Leytonstone, Folkestone Town, Herne Bay and Snowdown Colliery Welfare.^[1]

Coaching career

Spurgeon was manager of Dutch clubs Ajax from 1961 to 1962,^[2][3] Heracles Almelo from 1963^[4] to 1964,^[5] Blauw-Wit Amsterdam^[6][7][8] and AGOVV^[9] and he later coached the Libyan national side,^[10] the Dallas Tornado of the North American Soccer League,^[11] Belgian side K.V. Mechelen^[12] Swedish side AIK, Cypriot side APOEL, and Landskrona, also of Sweden.^[13]
