Kay Mousley

Kay Mousley is the Electoral Commissioner for the Electoral Commission of South Australia.[1] She is the first woman to hold the post and had previously worked for 25 years for the Australian Electoral Commission rising to the head of that agency in South Australia. Mousley was appointed after a recommendation of the Statutory Officers Committee of the Parliament of South Australia.[2]

The electoral commissioner's role is varied but overall ensures that elections are fair and true.
