Kawasoti
Kawasoti (कावासोती) is a municipality in Nawalparasi district, Lumbini Zone, Nepal. It is 31 km west of Bharatpur and 85 km east of Butwal, approximately on the middle of Mahendra Highway. The Naryani River flows south of it and the Mahabharat Range is north of it.
Kawasoti serves as administrative sub-headquarters for Nawalparasi district, locating all major government and administrative offices for eastern half of Nawalparasi. With rapid increase in population and development of infrastructures, this city is quickly emerging into a business, educational and health hub on the center of East-West Highway.
it is the most beautiful city of nawalparasi district and it is located at heart of the country, it is also known as a greenery city where 60%of land is occupied by the forests where we can get the fresh air and the bacteria free water which is the most important stuff for the human beings.
Kawasoti has population of 36,112 (2011) including Shivamandir and Kawasoti VDCs. People from various castes and religions coexists in this city with majority of them Hindu and some Buddhists and other religions. Around 15 private and government schools and 3 colleges provide the education from kindergarten to the master's degree level, which are attended by students as far as 30-km far from the city. City also serves with many local hospitals and pharmacies for health facilities of residents. City has well paved road networks, strong telecommunication, well managed drinking water and drainage system and major sources for shopping and entertainment.
People have been constantly migrating to this city from neighbouring hilly regions and districts for last 30-40 years which was otherwise largely occupied by dense forests that lead to Chitwan National Park directly towards south of this city.

Nawalparasi district, a part of Lumbini zone, is one of the seventy-five districts of Nepal, a landlocked country of South Asia. The district, with Parasi, as its district headquarters, covers an area of 2,162 km² and has a population (2001) of 562,870. Which belongs to the Western Region of Nepal, and lies 147 km. west of the Capital Kathmandu.
