Kausaliya

Kausaliya (in Hindi कोसलीय) is a dominant Gotra of Yaduvanshi Ahirs of Haryana.Kosli town in Ahirwal has maximum number of Kausaliyas.

According to British historian Richard Gabriel Fox, King Kausal Singh of Kausalia clan established chiefdoms and had also established kingdoms near Jodhpur and Gwalior in the seventeenth century. He also gained an entry into Delhi court through an Ahir court noble whose daughter he married.^[1][2]
