Kauko Kalevi Kangasniemi (18 November 1942 17 April 2013) was a Finnish weightlifter.[1] He competed at the 1968 and 1972 Summer Olympics in the heavyweight and super heavyweight categories, respectively, and finished in seventh place in both games.[2] Between 1969 and 1972 he won three medals at the world and European championships and set five world records in the snatch. He was born in Ulvila and died in Hämeenlinna.[3]

His elder brother Kaarlo also competed in weightlifting at Olympic Games, but in lighter weight categories.[2]
