Katie Teresa Sheridan (born 29 December 1986) is an English actress best known for her role as Sophie Norton in the Nickelodeon comedy series Genie in the House.[1]

Career

Katie Sheridan made her first television appearance in ITV’S Real Crime Series Cracking The Killer’s Code. She went to East Berkshire College, and appeared in a number of BBC Productions including Powers, Waking The Dead, In2minds, Casualty, Lovesoup, If…TV Goes Down The Tube and Brief Encounters. She also played young Grace in the feature film Lighthouse Hill.[2]

Sheridan gained a following for her role as Sophie Norton in the Nickelodeon comedy series Genie In The House. The show, with a total of 78 episodes, was shown in over 100 countries and as of March 2012 was aired in the US on the Starz Kids & Family cable network.[3]

Sheridan appears in several episodes of the new family comedy series Which is Witch?[4] The show has been shot in stereoscopic 3d and she plays mean girl Kelly Price.

Katie has just finished filming the comedy feature The Confusion of Tongues.[5]
