Katie Morgan (born March 17, 1980[2] in Orange County, California) is a former American pornographic actress and former radio talk-show host.

Career

Morgan initially entered the porn industry as a means to pay off her bail and plea bargain after being arrested in 2000 for transporting over 100 pounds (45 kg) of marijuana from Mexico into the United States.[3] Her first sex scene was in Ed Powers' Dirty Debutantes 197.[3] Morgan has worked for production companies such as Adam & Eve, Elegant Angel, Fallen Angel Video, Hustler Video, Jill Kelly Productions, Legend Video, New Sensations, Penthouse Pictures, VCA Pictures, Vivid Entertainment, Wicked Pictures, the Zane Entertainment Group, and Zero Tolerance Entertainment.[2]

Appearances

She has been featured in HBO's A Real Sex Xtra: Pornucopia – Going Down in the Valley, Katie Morgan on Sex Toys, Katie Morgan: Porn 101, Katie Morgan's Sex Tips: Questions, Anyone?, and in the HBO documentary film Katie Morgan: A Porn Star Revealed,[4] in which she describes having chosen the surname Morgan in reference to the alcoholic beverage Captain Morgan's Rum and the first name Katie in reference to the first name of Scarlett O'Hara of Gone with the Wind. She typically would host such shows completely naked except for a pair of high heels.

Morgan has been interviewed on several FM band and Sirius Satellite Radio shows, recently on King Dude, The Mike Church Show as well as XM Satellite Radio on the Opie & Anthony Show starring Jim Norton. For several years she co-hosted The Wanker Show on adult internet radio station KSEXradio.com.

In 2008 Morgan made a guest appearance on HBO's Entourage playing herself. She made her first mainstream feature film appearance in Kevin Smith's 2008 comedy, Zack and Miri Make a Porno, starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks. At that time, she unofficially retired from adult films. It was made official when she married a year later.

Personal life

Katie was born and raised in Reseda, Los Angeles, California in an extremely religious family. She was home-schooled for the entirety of her school career. She claims to have lost her virginity at age 16 with her first boyfriend in a church parking lot where she was teaching Sunday School. She first married in 1998 at age 18 to another man whom she had known since age 12 through Church Camp. (They also were on the same state-champion National Bible Quiz team.) About a month after getting married, they started practicing an open relationship via "three-ways" and "Swinging". Shortly after her marijuana arrest, her husband joined the Air Force, leaving her to live with his attorney. Six months later, through an adult actress client of the attorney named Lola, Katie entered the adult film business. About a year later, she and her husband separated, officially divorcing in 2009. At age 24, she got a breast enhancement in order to obtain more jobs in adult film.[1] She has since remarried to Jim Jackman, whom she met on the set of Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Her marriage was officiated by Kevin Smith, who introduced Katie to Jim.[10]
