Kathumar is a town and tehsil of Alwar district[1] in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Geography

Villages in the tehsil include Bhojpura, about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) away. Bhojpura has a school that continues to class VIII. Kathumar distance form Kherli Railways station about 10 km. it is also connected from Nagar.

Education

The most popular college in Kathumar for higher education for women is "Shree Maa Mahila Mahavidyalaya."

For boys there is no facility for higher education, but there are some good schools such as "New modern public school."

"Shree Maa Mahila Mahavidyalaya" was founded in 2004.

The main occupation is subsistence farming. The Hindustan petrolium has started his gas agency namely desraj gas agency situated at reta road in kathumar. there is village badka in this village there are 160 family.mostly in this village every family have avg.two government employee in army. There is village named Pitampura is situated west of Kherli Railway station, economically most of peoples depends on daily work at Kherli. Govt Job :- There are only two guys obtained Central Govt Job named Mr Rajesh, Mr Jai Singh and two more obtained State Govt job named Mr Rajendra and Miss Kavita Krishna Yadav.
