Kashimada Station (鹿島田駅 Kashimada-eki) is a railway station operated by JR East's Nambu Line located in Saiwai Ward of Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan. It is 4.1 kilometers from the terminus of the Nambu Line at Kawasaki Station.

History

Kashimada Station opened as Kashimada Stop (鹿島田停留場 Kashimada-Teiryūjō) on the Nambu Railway on March 9, 1927. The stop was raised in status to that of a full station along with nationalization of Nambu Railway on April 1, 1944 into the Japanese Government Railway (JGR) system, which became part of the Japan National Railways (JNR) from 1946. Freight operations were discontinued in 1973. Along with privatization and division of JNR, JR East started operating the station on April 1, 1987.

Kashimada Station has two opposed side platforms serving two tracks, connected by an overpass to an elevated station building. The station is attended, but its operation is consigned to East Japan Eco Access Co., Ltd.
