KashFlow is a privately owned software company based in London, United Kingdom that specialises in online accounting software for small businesses owners with an emphasis on ease of use, automation and integration.

History

KashFlow was founded by Duane Jackson in 2005, and was originally marketed to members of the Federation of Small Businesses and The Prince’s Trust. Since then, the company has grown considerably and is now of one the market leaders for web-based accounting software in the UK. The company is chaired by Lord Young (former Cable & Wireless chairman) and was the first piece of accounting software to be certified by PayPal for its integration with them.

In October 2013, Duane Jackson announced that Kashflow had been acquired by accountancy and payroll giant IRIS, in a deal thought to be in the tens of millions.[1]

Product

KashFlow's current offering is completely cloud-based, with the company often referring to itself as a pioneer of the SaaS industry. As well as automating repetitive tasks, the software integrates with a number of other applications including PayPal, MailChimp, Dropbox, Tradeshift and several e-commerce platforms.
