Karthick Iyer has a experience of practice and training of nearly 20 years in the field of music. He has entertained audiences in over a thousand concerts across many countries. The motto of his 12 track album IndoSoul is to "Take Indian music to the world and bring the world to Indian music” and according to Karthick IndoSoul stands for "Indo drawing from the idea of an Indian civilisation and Soul resulting from a deep, inward experience".[2] Karthick explains that the Indian civilization has stood the test of time, welcoming and absorbing numerous cultures along the way - reinventing itself with every addition, but never losing its depth. In a similar vein, IndoSoul goes beyond the confines of genre, seeks out and welcomes other musical influences - while retaining its core identity of Indianness

He believes in collaboration between musicians from different cultures (Indian and Western) is the game changer. This has been the case for the past few decades and will continue to do so, evolving with time to create new crossover genres. The most important aspect in a piece of music is the emotion that it carries to the listener.
