Karl Auer (20 October 1916 in Prienbach am Inn, Bavaria – 31 March 1997 in Simbach am Inn) was a highly decorated German Waffen-SS officer.

He was one of 98 soldiers to have been awarded both the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross and Close Combat Clasp in Gold.
