Karin Horen (born 14 May 1973) is a mother-of-three advocate for breast cancer, public speaker for well being, founder of Paddle For Hope and Pink Vision, and TV presenter.
Early life
Born in Israel in 1973, Karin moved to Australia in 2005 - where she met her partner, Manu Bennett - to study her Master in Marketing. In 2009, she moved with her family to New Zealand .
Career
In 2011 Karin founded the Paddle for hope, a stand up paddle fundraising event which raised money for a rehabilitation program for people who had breast cancer. The charity has now gone global with the first event held in Israel in 2013. Karin has been speaking in public about her breast cancer story and has been inspiring women around the world. She has overcome breast cancer twice. First at the age of 26 and last year at the age of 41. Karin is a mother to three girls and living with her family in Auckland, New Zealand. Karin studied TV presenting and has been in media for many years prior to becoming a fitness instructor and a paddle boarder. Her passion is people. Last year karin has established Pink Vision which gathers all her activities . She would love to do more public speaking and grow the charity work. More so to be able to engage with more people through building communities and making a difference.[1]
Personal life
Karin Horen and her partner New Zealand actor Manu Bennett have three daughters together.[2]
