Kappalabandham is a village in the Khammam district, in the state of Telangana, India. It is located 3 km from its local Mandal at Kalluru.[1]

Demographics

There are approximately 500 households in the village and surrounding area, and the village is dominated by the Reddy caste, a powerful caste in the state.

Economy

The local economy is driven by agriculture, based primarily on cotton, rice, and sugar.

Culture

The village is home to two temples, the Bhakthha Anjaneeya Swami temple and the Ankamma Thalli temple.

In April every year, the village celebrates a number of festivals, including Ankamma, Thirupathamma, Vinayaka Chavithi, and Sri Ramanavami.

Climate
