Kappa TV
KappaTV is a Malayalam speciality music television channel from the Mathrubhumi group, the publisher of the widely circulated Mathrubhumi daily. Kappa TV airs Malayalam, Tamil, English and Hindi programs.
The channel was named after the delicious local dish made from Tapioca, which is called as Kappa in Malayalam language.
The channel focus on youth oriented programs and with a great emphasis on music. Music programs from the bands based in Kerala is a popular program in KappaTV. The studios are located in Trivandrum.
