Kannur Sreelatha is an Indian film actress best known for her work in Malayalam cinema.[1] She hails from Kannur.[2] She made her debut with the movie Prashnam Gurutharam directed by Balachandra Menon.[3] She has acted in many dramas before entering into the film field.

Personal life

She is born as eldest among four children to theater artist Rajan and Vasanthy at Muzhappilangattu, Kannur, Kerala. She has two brothers and a sister. Her father owned a drama troupe Raja Theaters. She started her career as a theater artist. She and her mother used to act in their drama troupe. later she stared acting in other drama troupes like Alavil Deshiya Kalasamithi at the age of 13. She had her primary education from Kannur Girls High School.[4]

She is married to Vinod. They have no children. [5] Now she is acting in Tele films and soap operas. Currently she resides at Pallikkunnu, Kannur with family.
