Kanegasaki Station (金ヶ崎駅 Kanegasaki-eki) is a railway station on the Tōhoku Main Line in Kanegasaki, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East).

History

Kanegasaki Station was opened on 1 July 1897.[1]The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987. A new station building was completed in November 2004.
