It is in the extreme south part of Kollam district of Kerala, around 49 km north of the state capital Thiruvananthapuram. Kollam Railway Station is only 22 km from the village and also well connected by buses. Nearest Airport is Trivandrum International Airport. It is around 44 km north of the state capitalThiruvananthapuram on the National Highway 47 (NH 47). Major municipal towns like Paravur and Varkala are very near to Kalluvathukkal.
