Kalimpong II (community development block) is an administrative division in Kalimpong subdivision of Darjeeling district in the Indian state of West Bengal. Kalimpong police station serves this block. Headquarters of this block is at Algarah.[1][2]

Algarah is located at 27°07′12″N 88°35′35″E / 27.120°N 88.593°E.
Kalimpong II community development block has an area of 303.00 km2.[2]
Demographics
As per 2001 census, Kalimpong I block had a total population of 60,216, out of which 31,276 were males and 28,940 were females. Kalimpong II block registered a population growth of 17.13 per cent during the 1991-2001 decade. Decadal growth for the district was 16.94 per cent.[2] Decadal growth in West Bengal was 17.84 per cent.[3]
