Kalambur is a panchayat town in Polur taluk, Tiruvanamalai district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Kalambur had a population of 13,291.^[1] Males constituted 49.6% of the population and females 50.4%.^[1] Kalambur had an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy was 79%, and female literacy was 57%. In 2001 in Kalambur, 11% of the population was under 6 years of age.^[2]
