The Kadava Patidar (also variously spelled Kadwa, Kadva) are a sub-caste of the Patidar (formerly known as Kunbi) community in India.

Origins

There are several theories of the origins of the Kadava. One religious theory holds that Kadavas are the descendants of Kush, the son of Lord Rama, though this is contested by academics.[1]
