Kachari (or Cachari) is a Sino-Tibetan language spoken in Assam, India.

The Bodo language is also known as the Kachari language. Kachari is also an alternative term for the Bodo people. Dimasa people are also known as Kachari. Kachari is also a generic which means all the tribes cognate to the Bodo tribe .
