Kabir Kuh Mountains

Kabir Kuh (In Persian: کبیرکوه) is a very long mountainous ridge stretching about 160 km (99 mi) in length on the borders of Lurestan and Ilam Provinces in Iran. It begins just 20 km (12 mi) south of Ilam and stretches down in the south-eastern direction to the vicinity of Andimeshk in Khuzestan.[1]

Kabir Kuh is the largest and the most important mountain range in Ilam province. The highest peak with 3,200 m (10,500 ft) height is called Kaane Seifi. It is located in Varzarin area near Chenar Bashi, about 50 km (31 mi) south of Ilam.[1]
