Kaali is a 1980 Tamil-language Indian feature film directed by I. V. Sasi and produced by Hem-Nag, starring Rajinikanth, Seema, Phataphat Jayalakshmi and Vijayakumar.[2][3]
In Kaali, the Telugu version Rajinikanth reprised the same role while Chiranjeevi replaced Vijayakumar. This was the first time that Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi acted together. Seema enacted dual roles in this film. Kaikala Satyanarayana plays the main villain in both the versions.
The movie was a hit in Telugu and a failure in Tamil.
