Kaštel Štafilić is a town within the administrative area of Kaštela in Dalmatia, Croatia. The oldest tree in Croatia, an olive tree estimated to be over 1,500 years old, is in Kaštela.

History

The castle of the Štafilić family was built in 1508 by the Trogirian nobleman Stjepan Štafilić on an island, and later linked to the land with a movable bridge. The eighteenth-century parish church was built by Ignacije Macanović, as an elegant late Barroque single-naved edifice.[1]
