KVOH - VOICE OF HOPE is an international shortwave radio station broadcasting from Rancho Simi near Los Angeles, California, United States. It is a Christian radio station with a vision to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to bring a message of joy and peace that comes from the "God of hope" (Romans 15:13). KVOH VOICE OF HOPE was founded by Dr. George K. Otis of High Adventure Ministries, and from 1987-2002 it broadcast in Spanish and English. From 2002-2011 the station operated under the name La Voz de Restauración, broadcasting solely in Spanish.
Today the VOICE OF HOPE (KVOH) is operated by Strategic Communications Group in accordance with the original vision of Dr. Otis. Rev. John Tayloe, Otis son-in-law, carries the VOICE OF HOPE vision forward today as its President. The station's broadcast target zones are the Caribbean, Central and South America. However, the VOICE OF HOPE is heard in over 50 countries including the United States of America. Its transmission site is high atop Chatsworth Peak northwest of Los Angeles, from which it broadcasts on its licensed frequencies of 9975 kHz and 17775 kHz.
