KUPT-LD is a low power digital broadcast television station licensed to Santa Fe, New Mexico and also serving the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. KUPT-LD transmits on UHF channel 16 at 15kW from atop Sandia Crest. The station is owned by Ramar Communications which also owns KTEL-CA Channel 15 (Telemundo) and KRTN-LD channel 33 (MeTV).
KUPT-LD broadcasts programming from the Heroes & Icons (H&I) network from Weigel Broadcasting out of Chicago which also operates MeTV and Movies!. H&I features mostly action-based TV series shown on digital channel 16.1. GetTV and Movies! both of which feature classic movies are featured on subchannels 16.2 and 16.3 respectively. KUPT-LD has been on the air since early October 2014 airing both Movies! and GetTV. In early February 2015 H&I was added and became the main channel for KUPT 16.1.
