KUMY-LD, Channel 22, is the Soul of the South affiliate for Beaumont, Texas. It was formerly affiliated with America One, My Network TV and the Retro TV Network.

The Station was launched in the early 2000s and is owned by the Minority Broadcasting Company. KUMY is an independent station and is a current member of the Texas Association of Broadcasters. It currently is illegal due to the fact it is not transmitting in digital but analog, for which they are no longer licensed for, and their ID is not legal as well.

KUMY is not available on local cable but can be seen over the air on channel 22 and on DirecTV's local package for the Beaumont area. Their transmitter is in downtown Beaumont on top of the former Petroleum Building. Their antenna is about 200 feet above ground level.
