History
This station’s construction permit was granted in October 2012, under a translator-style callsign, K14PS-D. Even after the callsign was changed to the current KQPS-LD on March 11, 2013, the station was still silent.
The station finally signed on the air in January 2015 as an affiliate of Telemundo on the station’s main digital subchannel, with upstart healthy-lifestyle network, Doctor TV, which was launched by DTV America Corporation in several other markets in 2014, on its second subchannel. [3] [4] [5]
