KPVU 91.3FM is a college radio station located on the campus of Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, Texas, 25 miles northwest of Houston. The station's playlist mainly consists of jazz, but at other times it plays Urban AC-level R&B and Gospel as well.

The signal is a rimshot over the northwestern portions of the Greater Houston area, fringing out over parts of the city.

Veteran broadcaster Ed Shannon was the first station manager at KPVU-FM. Shannor previously worked at KAPE-AM radio in San Antonio, Texas and KHOU-TV in Houston, Texas. Lori Gray, Esq. Became station manager in 1988 to 1998. Larry Coleman began as program director, then became station manager until 2008. Dr. Carol L. Adams-Means was the first news director beginning in October 1982, and served in that capacity until 1998. Adams-Means worked in Houston media at KHOU-TV, KUHT-TV, KENR-AM and KULF-AM. Charles Porter, Jr. also served as program director. Dave Cassels has served as engineer for many years.
