KKYZ (101.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an Oldies format. Licensed to Sierra Vista, Arizona, USA, the station is currently owned by Cochise Broadcasting, LLC (a Wyoming LLC).[1]
History
The station went on the air as KXHC on 1990-10-17. On 1990-12-21, the station changed its call sign to the current KKYZ.[2]
Construction permit
KKYZ has been granted an FCC construction permit to move to a new transmitter site, change the city of license to Tanque Verde, Arizona, move to 101.1 MHz, change to class C3, increase ERP to 24,000 watts and decrease HAAT to 49 meters.
