History
KGFM was originally a beautiful music/easy listening station until the summer of 1992, when they abandoned the format due to low revenue as a result of attracting older listeners. They went adult contemporary and have mostly stayed in the format although in 2005 a decision was made to emphasize gold product.
In 2007, the station went to a soft Adult Hits format. The station now plays music from 1970s through today's hits. During the weekends, it played an oldies music format, playing oldies from the 1960s and 1970s during the weekends, targeting the younger end of the baby boomer demographic.
