KBBF (89.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Spanish Contemporary format. Licensed to Calistoga, California, USA, the station is currently owned by Bilingual Broadcasting Foundation, Inc. This is the first bilingual (Spanish-English), non-commercial, Latino/Chicano-operated radio station in the United States. KBBF went on the air in May 1971.
The station was intermittently off the air between March 13 and May 5, 2011 due to a lightning strike at the transmitter site.
