KAHL-FM (103.7 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an adult standards format, simulcasting KAHL 1310 AM San Antonio, TX. Licensed to Hondo, Texas, USA. The station is currently owned by Hondo Radioworks, Ltd..[2]

History

The station went on the air as KRBH on 1989-11-29. on 2001-04-17, the station changed its call sign to the current KMFR. on 2002-09-11 to KRIO-FM, on 2004-04-12 to KMFR, on 2011-09-22 to the current KAHL-FM.[3]

On December 23, 2008, industry website 100000watts.com reported that KMFR's translator in San Antonio, 103.7 had gone silent, though no explanation for this was given.

As of December 25, 2009 or a little while sooner, KMFR 103.7 becomes KAHL's translator playing adult standards music, while KMFR 105.9 continues with classic rock. The last time an Easy Listening format was in San Antonio on the FM dial it was on KITE-FM 104.5, now home of Classic Rock KZEP.

On September 22, 2011 KMFR changed their call letters to KAHL-FM and changed their format to adult standards, simulcasting KAHL 1310 AM San Antonio, Texas.
