Kaveti Vijayanand, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of Andhra Pradesh Cadre, posted as Assistant Collector for Adilabad district in the year 1992. With Vijayanand as the Managing Director & Director, APGENCO won The India Power Award - Overall Utility Performance Generation award in 2008, 2009, 2011,[1] and 2012; the Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) Ninety Third Annual Function Excellence Award 2009-10 - Excellence in Industrial Productivity[2] and National Award For Meritorious Performance - Thermal Power Stations Performance ( Dr Narla Tata Rao Thermal Power Station) from Sushilkumar Shinde in the year 2010.[3] For his excellence Vijayanand received “CEO of the Year (State Thermal)’ 2013” award from Sri N. Kiran Kumar Reddy on 22 November 2013.[4]
