K. L. Mohana Varma
K. L. Mohana Varma (born 1936) is a Malayalam–language novelist, short story writer and journalist from Kerala state, South India. He has to his credit 65 published works and won numerous literary awards,[1] including two from Kerala Sahitya Akademi.[2] Varma was a central government employee for a long period. He is the editor of Veekshanam, a daily newspaper published by Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee,[3] and Puzha Magazine, the first online magazine in Malayalam. His notable literary works include Ohari, Cricket, Stock Exchange (novels) and Kariyachante Lokam (humour). He occasionally writes in English also.
Varma is frequently called upon as a speaker at cultural events.[4][5][6]
