Justina Sharp

Justina Sharp (born October 2, 1997) is an American fashion and entertainment blogger and journalist who gained national attention after her article "I'm A Barbie Girl, In The Real World"[1] was published by the Huffington Post in February 2014. Sharp guest-wrote a follow up op-ed piece for The New York Times[2] and appeared on the Today Show.[3]

Sharp also founded and has served as editor of her fashion, entertainment and lifestyle site A Bent Piece of Wire since 2011, when she was 13 years old. Her site is best known for its in-depth interviews of up-and-coming and established figures in the fashion and entertainment industries, including Laura Brown,[4] Rebecca Black,[5] and R5.[6] Justina is active on social media, and has been featured in Teen Vogue, as well as being a regular contributor to TeenVogue.com lifestyle pieces.[7][8][9]

Sharp has been involved in the California 4-H program since she was 11, and currently serves as a 2014-15 California 4-H Ambassador. She has defended Sports Illustrated's decision to run a feature on Barbie, saying "Barbie is the doll that shaped the childhood of millions, including mine".[10]
