Justin Moed is a Democratic member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing the 97th district. Before serving in the House, Moed served an assistant policy director.[1]
Personal
Justin Moed graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis.[2] In March 2015, Moed admitted to sexting Sydney Leathers, the woman who had been involved in the Anthony Weiner sexting scandal.[3] According to Leathers, Moed "tweeted that he wanted Leathers to buy a strap-on to use on him, to dress in a French maid’s outfit and clean Leathers’ house, and to be tied up in a closet and listen while Leathers had sex with her boyfriend."[4] Despite calls for his resignation, Moed remained in the Indiana House.[5]
Legislative career
Justin Moed is the ranking Democrat on the Financial Institutions Committee.[6]
