In 2004–05, Davis turned pro overseas with SC Mittelrhein of the Oberliga, Germany's third-tier ice hockey league. He recorded 63- and 51-point seasons with Mittelrhein.

Upon returning to Ontario, he played at the senior level with the Tillsonburg Vipers of Major League Hockey (MLH) for one season.
