Junya Yamaguchi is a Japanese keyboard player, pianist, composer, arranger and music producer based in New York City.

Background

Junya born and raised in Yokohama City, Japan. Junya Yamaguchi is a musician based in New York City, US. He started playing keyboard at the age of ten, spent a lot of time to arrange and compose many kinds of music. He won several awards at YAMAHA Electone competitions. At the age of eighteen, he started playing jazz piano. After spending several years for studying and working in jazz scene, he formed his Funk/Jazz/R&B/Hip-Hop band named ULANORI, which released two albums. Since Junya moved to New York City in 2008, Junya has worked with various musicians and producers. In 2014, Junya played "America The Beautiful" at the Super Bowl 2014 with Queen Latifah.[1] In the latest work, Junya played at Artpark 2014 opening for Ringo Starr (Beatles), as a member of Andy Suzuki & The Method.[2]
